The development of robotic saws is a success story that we look back on with pride. It has been ten years since we revolutionized cutting with the first robot saw. Today, over 250 customers worldwide rely on our robot technology and benefit from maximum efficiency, flexibility and constant new developments.
2015: Premiere of the SAWTEQ S-320 flexTec
We laid the foundation in 2015 with the introduction of the SAWTEQ S-320 flexTec. With this robot saw, we revolutionized cutting in batch size 1 production and enabled highly flexible, commission- or customer-specific production. Our innovative cutting cell is specially designed for processing individual panels and completely redefines the flow of parts - regardless of whether it is used as a stand-alone solution or in interlinked systems.
With our machine concept, we create fully automated processes, unlimited recuts and - depending on the design of the parts removal - largely unmanned operation. This flexibility gives your team space and time to concentrate on other value-adding tasks.
2017: Intelligent destacking software for optimal parts stacks
In 2017, we set another milestone: we developed a completely new algorithm for destacking. Thanks to this software and special lifting tables in the robot's operating range, our robot saws work highly efficiently and optimize batch size 1 production far beyond cutting.
We can carry out stacking in a way that optimizes stacking space as well as in a process-oriented manner. Our robot uses the maximum stack height and forms stable, space-saving stacks - significantly less than with manual stacking. As a result, we reduce the activities of your machine operators to a minimum, reduce the space required for handling tasks and achieve a fast return on investment.
2019: The SAWTEQ S-300 / 400 flexTec - the hybrid concept
In 2019, we combined our proven robot technology in a new way and presented the SAWTEQ S-300 / 400 flexTec. These robot saws are characterized by their hybrid concept: They can be operated both automatically and manually, offering maximum flexibility in day-to-day production.
2025: The S-200 flexTec - robot saw for the craftmen
Just in time for our tenth anniversary, we are presenting our latest development: the SAWTEQ S-200 flexTec. Inexpensive and automatic - with these premises in mind, we have developed the new robot saw especially for trade and medium-sized businesses, setting new standards in cooperation between man and machine. The saw automates horizontal panel dividing and offers maximum flexibility at the touch of a button. And the highlight: it is an affordable solution, especially for smaller companies.
The hybrid machine concept - adapted from our big sister models SAWTEQ S-300 / S-400 flexTec - makes it easy to switch between robot operation and manual operation. Unmanned, highly efficient batch size 1 production is possible in robot mode. In manual mode, full processing freedom is maintained, for example for cutting packages to size.
