HOMAG Cares donation handover

Supporting Charities Around the World

Sample pieces for a good cause

In 2008 the HOMAG Group made its first donation of furniture, providing schools with their demonstration samples used at a trade fair in India. The idea of HOMAG Cares was born and has been an essential part of the HOMAG Group at trade fairs and Events ever since. The sample pieces, like cuckoo clocks, tablesoccer, fruit bowls and even modern drawer shelves, benefit charities either as a donation in kind or as a monetary donation once the items have been sold. The charity proceeds are often increased by the help of the HOMAG Group.

Direct and global support

Since 2008 HOMAG Cares has supported charitable institutions around the world, always under the premise that the donations arrive directly, where the support is actually needed.

HOMAG Cares has supported the following charities:

  • Children with cancer in Australia
  • Disabled people in Leicester
  • Cystc fibrosis sufferers in the Stuttgart region
  • People with mental illnesses in Freudenstadt
  • Disabled infants and toddlers in the Italian province Brianza
  • Children's hospice in Bielefeld
  • Mountain school in Nepal
  • Development aid agency in Brazil
  • Children's center near Barcelona

WEINMANN makes a donation to the "Hilfe für kranke Kinder" charitable foundation run by Uni-Kinderklinik Tübingen

This year's WEINMANN Treff took place in the impressive surroundings of the newly constructed production hall at the St. Johann site and, in addition to the latest machine technology and a wide range of services, also offered visitors the opportunity to contribute to a good cause. WEINMANN was therefore able to demonstrate its commitment to both acting as a holistic partner for its customers and supporting local causes.

HOMAG donates to SOS Children's Villages

This year we have decided to not give gifts to customers and business partners. Rather, we want to donate the money to people who are in need of help.

The donation was given to Future Chances in December — those involved have now met up and discussed what the money has been used for so far.

EUR 20,000 invested sustainably – "Beds4Poor" — HOMAG Cares donation for Tanzania

"Help where help is needed" — that's the objective of the HOMAG Group's initiative "HOMAG Cares". At Christmas, our company management decided not to spend money on gifts for customers and business partners, instead donating EUR 20,000 to people who urgently need help. The money was used to build beds for poor families as well as an elementary school.

The donation is presented at HOMAG in Schopfloch to Future Chances
