trendPANEL is based in Löhne, Germany, and specializes in the production of acoustic and relief panels. To optimize the painting process, Eckhard Stallmann (trendPANEL) has purchased a spray painting machine from HOMAG. The SPRAYTEQ S-100 coating machine paints and stains surfaces automatically.
At trendPANEL in Löhne, 15 employees produce customized acoustic and relief panels made from wood and MDF. Since 2018, they have been using a SPRAYTEQ S-100 painting machine to finish the surface. Switching from manual to semi-automated spray painting was child's play: setting up the machine and training the employees took just two days. By investing in the HOMAG machine, trendPANEL has found an effective solution for a high-quality spray application, since the quality—particularly with regard to staining and painting with colors—exceeded initial expectations. The purchase has been deemed a complete success, including with regard to capacity and costs: 60% less production time, 25% lower costs — and that's a conservative calculation.
