WEINMANN Treff 2023: A variety of impressions in the Swabian Alps

This year's WEINMANN Treff impressed visitors with its concept at the newly constructed production hall at the St. Johann site, and offered visitors a wide range of opportunities to find out about and exchange information on current trends in timber construction. Around 300 visitors from 13 different countries attended the in-house trade fair. WEINMANN presented itself as a holistic partner, offering customers not only innovative machine technologies, but also a comprehensive range of services that go far beyond machine-controlled production.

The great interest in the in-house trade fair and the numerous visitors once again showed that timber construction continues to offer potential despite the currently weakening market. The participants were able to immerse themselves in the exciting world of timber house construction under the motto "The A to Z for your timber framing needs." During the two-day event, all technical presentations were fully booked, encouraging a lively exchange between carpenters, timber construction companies and industry experts. From beam processing through various versions of the assembly tables to the multifunction bridges — visitors had the opportunity to gain a versatile insight into the WEINMANN product portfolio.

The A to Z for your timber framing needs

As a holistic partner for timber construction, WEINMANN creates far more than just the basis for efficient and innovative production. The company supports carpenters and timber construction companies throughout their entire journey, from consulting through development of the appropriate production concept to ensuring that employees are appropriately qualified and the company is well orientated for the future. The respective experts from the WEINMANN Academy and Schuler Consulting provided an insight into the training and consulting services. The accompanying exhibition, with 24 exhibitors, also offered a comprehensive insight into current products and services in the fields of software, fastening devices, tools, packaging solutions, wood materials, extraction systems, insulation solutions and transport systems.

More than just an in-house trade fair

In addition to the two trade fair days at WEINMANN Treff, on November 14, 2023, the company offered its visitors the opportunity to view WEINMANN systems in advance, with two guided TEQtours on-site at reference customers. This gave visitors the opportunity to gain an insight into industrial solutions or solutions for woodworking shops in a real production environment. The trade fair week ended with a joint event hosted by the two organizations Gütegemeinschaft Deutscher Fertigbau e.V. and Verband HIGH-TECH-ABBUND e.V., which was also hosted by the WEINMANN in-house trade fair. This also provided participants with a tour of WEINMANN production, an exciting technical presentation program and the opportunity to exchange ideas with colleagues from the industry and WEINMANN experts. Josef Zerle, Managing Director of WEINMANN, looks back on the week with satisfaction and is already looking forward to the coming year: "WEINMANN Treff has established itself as an international industry event for timber construction. The enthusiasm for the solutions presented as well as the entire program was noticeable over the course of the event. The events were enriched by a variety of field reports from pioneering companies, from carpenters who have taken their company to the next level or from market leaders in the prefabricated house industry. We are already looking forward to WEINMANN Treff 2024!"
