Data protection

We, HOMAG Group AG, welcome your interest in our company and in our products and services, and would like to give you the feeling that your personal data are safe while you are visiting our website.
We want you to know when we collect which data and how we use them. We have put technical and organizational measures in place to ensure that all data privacy regulations are observed by us and by external service providers.

Personal data and the use of data not collected automatically

Personal data are details on the personal and material circumstances of a certain or determinable individual person, i.e. information on your identity. Such details are e.g. name, address, telephone number, e-mail address. For access to our website, we may, in certain cases, require your name and address and also further details enabling us to provide the requested services.
The same applies, for example, to sending information material or replying to individual questions. Where this is necessary, we will draw your attention to this. Moreover, we will save and process only personal data that you disclose to us voluntarily or automatically - as set forth in the section below "Type and use of data collected automatically".
If you have requested us to provide services via our website, normally only such data will be collected that we require for providing the services. If we ask you to disclose further personal data to us, the collection and use of such information is either legally permissible, or you have given us permission in a separate declaration allowing us to collect and use the data in question. We will collect, process and use the personal data not collected automatically and disclosed to us online only for the purposes advised to you in this Privacy Statement or otherwise on our website. These personal data will not be propagated to third parties without your permission unless a propagation to third parties is necessary for providing the services.
The collection of personal data and their disclosure to public institutions and authorities will only be done in compliance with currently valid legislation or if we are obliged to do so by virtue of a decision made by a court or a regulatory authority. Our employees and the service providers requested by us to deliver services are committed by us to privacy and to observance of the provisions of the German Data Protection Act (Bundesdatenschutzgesetz).

Type and use of data collected automatically

When our website is accessed, the following data are saved automatically for organizational and technical reasons: the names of the web pages you have visited and the operating system and browser type you use, date and time of your visit to our website, the search machines you used, the names of downloaded files and your IP address and cookies under the terms of the sections "Google Analytics" and "Cookies" of this Privacy Statement.
We assess these automatically collected data in an anonymized or pseudonymized form only for statistical purposes in order to continuously improve our website and to make the design of our offerings on the Internet more attractive. We do not create any user profiles. The anonymous or pseudonymous data are saved separately from personal information on secured systems, and they are not linked to the identity of any individual. Your personal data and your privacy are therefore protected at all times. The use of the data by virtue of the following "Piwik" section will remain unaffected.

According to the Federal Data Protection Act, you have a right to free-of-charge information about your stored data, and possibly entitlement to correction, blocking or deletion of such data. Inquiries can be directed to the following e-mail addresses:

We give a high priority to the protection and security of personal data. Therefore, we comply strictly with the rules of the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, “EU-Datenschutz-Grundverordnung”). The following will tell you which type of data is collected and recorded, and for what purpose:

Data transmission /Data recording

When you visit this site, the server automatically records log files that cannot be assigned to any particular person. These data contain the browser type and version, the operating system used, the referrer URL (i.e., the site visited previously), the IP address of the requesting computer, the date and time of access by the server request, and the file requested by the client (file name and URL). These data are collected only for statistical evaluation. They will not be transmitted to third parties for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

The use of personal data

Personal data will be collected or processed only if you communicate such data to us voluntarily (e.g., as part of an enquiry). If you have consented to have your personal data stored but now wish to withdraw this consent, you may do so in writing (e.g., by e-mail or fax) with immediate effect, unless we need to store the data to handle a transaction. Your data will not be transmitted to third parties unless this is required by statutory provisions.

Obtaining information about your data, altering and deleting your data

In accordance with applicable law, you may send us a written enquiry at any time about whether we are storing any personal data about you, and for what purpose. You will receive a prompt written reply.

The security of your data

We have taken technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorised access. All our employees, and all third parties responsible for data processing, have been obligated to comply with the Federal Data Protection Act and to treat personal data confidentially.

We update our security measures constantly to keep up with technological developments.

Making contact

When the provider is contacted (e.g., via the contact form or e-mail), the user’s information is stored to process their request, or in case they have follow-up questions.

We use the newsletter to inform you about us and our offers.

If you would like to receive the newsletter, we need your valid e-mail address, as well as information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the specified e-mail address, or that its owner agrees to receive the newsletter. We will not collect any other data. These data are used only to send the newsletter and will not be transmitted to third parties.

To register for the newsletter, we store your IP address and the date of registration. This registration is used only for verification purposes in case a third party misuses an e-mail address and registers to receive the newsletter without the knowledge of the address’ rightful owner.

You can always withdraw your consent to have your data or e-mail address stored or used to send the newsletter. You can make this withdrawal in your profile, by using a link in the newsletter itself, or by notifying the above contact person.

Registration function

The data entered during registration will be used to take advantage of the offer. The user can be informed via e-mail about information concerning the offer or registration, such as technical circumstances or changes in the scope of the offer. The collected data can be seen in the input screen during registration.

Inclusion of services and third-party content

There is a possibility that third-party content such as videos from YouTube, maps from Google Maps, RSS feeds or graphics from other websites will be incorporated into this online offer. This always assumes that the provider of these contents (“third-party providers”) can detect the user’s IP address. Without the IP address they could not send the contents to the user’s browser. This makes the IP address necessary to show these contents. We endeavour to use only contents whose providers use the IP address only to deliver the contents. However, we have no way of influencing whether the third-party provider will use the IP address for statistical purposes, for example. If we are aware of whether this is the case, we will inform the user accordingly.

Data protection provisions about the application and use of YouTube

On this website, the controller has integrated components of YouTube. YouTube is an Internet video portal that enables video publishers to set video clips and other users free of charge, which also provides free viewing, review and commenting on them. YouTube allows you to publish all kinds of videos, so you can access both full movies and TV broadcasts, as well as music videos, trailers, and videos made by users via the Internet portal.
The operating company of YouTube is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, UNITED STATES. The YouTube, LLC is a subsidiary of Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Pkwy, Mountain View, CA 94043-1351, UNITED STATES.
With each call-up to one of the individual pages of this Internet site, which is operated by the controller and on which a YouTube component (YouTube video) was integrated, the Internet browser on the information technology system of the data subject is automatically prompted to download a display of the corresponding YouTube component. Further information about YouTube may be obtained under https://www.youtube.com/yt/about/en/. During the course of this technical procedure, YouTube and Google gain knowledge of what specific sub-page of our website was visited by the data subject.
If the data subject is logged in on YouTube, YouTube recognizes with each call-up to a sub-page that contains a YouTube video, which specific sub-page of our Internet site was visited by the data subject. This information is collected by YouTube and Google and assigned to the respective YouTube account of the data subject.
YouTube and Google will receive information through the YouTube component that the data subject has visited our website, if the data subject at the time of the call to our website is logged in on YouTube; this occurs regardless of whether the person clicks on a YouTube video or not. If such a transmission of this information to YouTube and Google is not desirable for the data subject, the delivery may be prevented if the data subject logs off from their own YouTube account before a call-up to our website is made.
YouTube's data protection provisions, available at https://www.google.com/intl/en/policies/privacy/, provide information about the collection, pro-cessing and use of personal data by YouTube and Google.

Use of Facebook social plugins

This offer uses social plugins (“plugins”) of the social network facebook.com, which is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbour, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). The plugins are recognisable on one of the Facebook logos (white “f” on a blue tile, the terms “Like” or a “thumbs up” symbol) or are identified with the additional “Facebook Social Plugin”. The list and appearance of Facebook social plugins can be seen here: developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/.

Whenever a user calls up a website from this offer that contains such a plugin, the user’s browser establishes a direct connection with Facebook’s server. Facebook will transmit the plugin’s contents directly to your browser, which will incorporate it into the website. Therefore, the provider has no influence on the scope of data that Facebook collects with the help of this plugin and informs the user accordingly about their state of knowledge:

When the plugin is incorporated, Facebook is informed that a user has called up the offer site in question. If the user is logged into Facebook, Facebook can assign the visit to the user’s Facebook account. Whenever a user interacts with the plugins, such as clicking the Like button or leaving a comment, the corresponding information is directly transmitted from their browser to Facebook and stored there. If a user is not a member of Facebook, there is still a chance that Facebook will detect their IP address and store it. According to Facebook, in Germany IP addresses are stored only in anonymised form.

You can learn why and to what extent data is collected, and how Facebook processes and uses it further, as well as your rights in the matter and how to change your settings to protect your privacy, from Facebook’s data protection statement: www.facebook.com/about/privacy/.

Users who are members of Facebook but do not wish Facebook to collect data about them regarding this offer and connect it to their Facebook member data must log out of Facebook before visiting our Internet presence. You can also change your Facebook profile settings to make additional adjustments (and objections) regarding the use of data for advertising purposes: www.facebook.com/settings;

+1 button Google+

This offer uses the “+1″ button of the social network Google Plus, which is operated by Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, United States (“Google”). The button can be recognised by its “+1” symbol on a white or coloured background.

Whenever a user calls up a website from this offer that contains such a button, the user’s browser establishes a direct connection with Google’s server. Google transmits the contents of the “+1” button directly to the user’s browser, which incorporates it into the website—therefore, the provider has no influence on the scope of the data that Google collects with the button. According to Google, no personal data will be collected unless the button is clicked. Such data (including the IP address) will be collected and processed only for members who are logged in.

You can learn why and to what extent data is collected, and how Google processes and uses it further, as well as your rights in the matter and how to change your settings to protect your privacy, from Google’s data protection statement regarding the “+1” button: www.google.com/intl/de/+/policy/+1button.htm+/policy/+1button.html and FAQ: www.google.com/intl/de/+1/button/.

This offer uses the buttons of the service Twitter. These buttons are offered by Twitter Inc., 795 Folsom St., Suite 600, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA. They can be recognised by terms such as “Twitter” or “Follow”, which are associated with a stylised blue bird. By using these buttons, you can share a contribution or page of this offer on Twitter, or follow the provider on Twitter.

Whenever a user calls up a website from this Internet presence that contains such a button, the user’s browser establishes a direct connection with Twitter’s server. Twitter will transmit the contents of the Twitter button directly to the user’s browser. Therefore, the provider has no influence on the scope of data that Twitter collects with the help of this plugin and informs the user accordingly about their state of knowledge. According to this knowledge, only the user’s IP address and the URL of the respective website will be transmitted by clicking the button, but not used for other purposes than showing the button.

You can find additional information in Twitter’s privacy statement at twitter.com/privacy.

If you use external links offered by our websites, please be aware that this privacy statement does not apply to them. Whenever we offer links, we do our best to ensure that they meet our data protection and security standards. However, we have no influence on whether other providers comply with our data protection and security provisions. Therefore, please read the privacy statements included on the websites of external providers.

But none of your data will be stored in doing so other than your IP address. Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses “cookies”: text files that are stored on your computer and allow us to analyse how you use our website. The information generated by the cookie about how you use this website is normally transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there. However, if IP anonymisation is activated on this website, Google will truncate your IP address in advance within member states of the European Union or in other Contracting States to the Agreement on the European Economic Area (EEA). Only in exceptional cases will your full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of this website’s operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports about website activities, and to render additional services for the website operator which pertain to website use and Internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser within the framework of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser settings accordingly, but we must point out that if you do you might not be able to use all of this website’s functions to their full extent. You can also prevent Google from recording or processing the data generated by the cookie which relates to your use of the website (including your IP address) by downloading and installing the browser plugin available under the following link: tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout;

You can find more detailed information about usage conditions and data protection under www.google.com/analytics/terms/de.html or under www.google.de/intl/de/policies/. Please note that on this website Google Analytics has been extended by the code “anonymizeIp” to guarantee an anonymised recording of IP addresses (IP masking).

Vous pouvez empêcher la collecte de données par Google Analytics en cliquant sur le lien suivant. Un cookie « Opt-Out » est utilisé pour empêcher la collecte future de vos données lorsque vous visitez ce site Web :e: Désactiver Google Analytics
