Completing a period of work experience at HOMAG GmbH will allow you to give your course of study a more practical emphasis, as you will have the chance to experience at first hand what an innovative company demands of its specialist and management employees on a day to day basis. And because you will work actively and directly on concrete projects, you will learn how theoretical knowledge gained in the classroom translates into practice. Through “learning by doing”, you will be actively integrated into the daily business and internal processes of the company.
You should allow at least six weeks for your work experience placement, but preferably take a period of three to six months. This will permit you to gain a more in-depth insight into the working practices and issues in which we are involved, get to know the circumstances of the company and experience eat first hand how ideas are turned into innovations.
We offer the following work experience placements:
• Basic / preliminary and specialist work experience
• 1st and 2nd practical semesters
• Technician projects
• Work experience abroad (limited places available as required)
