What should I include in my application?
A complete application dossier should always contain a letter, a curriculum vitae with picture and your certificates, as well as any proofs of completed work experience, practical training etc.
Do application time limits exist?
The time limit for applications to obtain a DH study course placement is August 31st of year before you wish to start your training. In other words if you wish to start your training with us on September 2012, you should have applied by August 31, 2011 at the latest
Is it necessary to have completed a work experience placement beforehand?
In order to have obtained a good insight into the day-to-day work involved in your chosen career, it is always advisable to do work experience. However, your work experience placement need not have been at HOMAG for your application to be positively received.
May I expect to have to sit a recruitment test?
We hold application interviews for all DH courses of study in order to gain a better impression of you.
Do I need specific average grades?
We have not specified any precise grades which we expect you to have achieved. What is important to us is your overall profile and compliance with the admission criteria of the individual University of Cooperative Education (DH). For more detailed information of these requirements, please see the individual DH courses.
Might there be a possibility of working abroad during the DH course?
We offer this possibility for the theoetical and practical semesters of most courses.
What payments will I receive as a DH student (m/f)?
Alongside your remuneration which is graduated according to the year of training, from the first month of employment you will also receive capital formation contributions of 13.30 Euro. You will also be paid a vacation and Christmas bonus, as wall as your travel fare.
